This piece preserves a section of the jaw with five teeth still in position, accompanied by the surrounding natural matrix.

Halisaurus was a relatively small, slender bodied mosasaur, a group of marine reptiles that dominated many of the world's oceans during the Late Cretaceous. 

Having multiple teeth preserved together with a section of the jaw makes this specimen particularly interesting. Rather than being an isolated tooth, it provides a glimpse of the original dental arrangement and anatomy of this prehistoric marine predator.
